Developed by Westchester Media Works in coordination with the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, the Federal Reserve and You interactive teaches visitors about the Federal Reserve System. A touch screen interface allows visitors to select a video from a range of topics and view it on a large secondary screen. Topics include the history of central banking in the United States, monetary policy, bank supervision and regulation, and payment systems. The video, produced by Boston Productions, Inc., includes animations, historical reenactments, and interviews with key figures within the Federal Reserve System.

Tech notes ▼
The Federal Reserve and You interactive is designed so the content can be easily updated in-house, providing flexibility and substantial cost savings for future updates. Updating the system is as easy as copying new content to user defined folders. The program supports full HD video and closed captions. Westchester Media Works also developed a closed caption editor to allow program compatible closed captions to be easily created for new video.
